Appealing Events: K.Flay at Bottom of the Hill

March has so far been a great month for either getting introspective or getting down, especially at Bottom of the Hill. The Potrero Hill venue has already seen Appeal favorites Yellow Ostrich and SKATERS take the stage earlier this week and now it’s K.Flay‘s turn to keep the hits coming.

The Stanford alum is riding high off an appearance on the Carson Daly show, garnering national attention for her deft remixes and landing a spot on the Vans Warped Tour this summer. Her What If It Is EP is a perfect marker of the growth the MC’s made since bursting on the scene with 2004’s Suburban Rap Queen. K.Flay’s raps are relatable, percussive jolts of low end rhythm and off the cuff lyrics. Start your week right and catch her at Bottom of the Hill this Sunday, March 23.
