7:00 am: A victim heard the front door of her home slam in the 1700 block of Turk Street. The victim proceeded to find her purse missing. There were no injuries or arrests.

Saturday, 7/3/10

1:07 am: After exiting his vehicle and approaching two victims at Pacific Ave. and Leavenworth St., a suspect with a gun allegedly demanded that the victims give him their valuables. Both victims obeyed the demand and gave the suspect their personal items and money. The first suspect entered the vehicle of a second suspect – both suspects fled. There were no injuries and no arrests.

1:32 am: Police officers witnessed a shooting in the unit block of Broadway. The suspect allegedly fired into a crowd, hitting three victims. The first two victims suffered from gunshot wounds to their lower bodies; the third victim’s lower body was grazed by the bullet. The first two victims were taken to the hospital, where their nonthreatening injuries were treated. The third victim was treated at the scene. The suspect is in custody and his handgun has been seized.

3:00 pm: A suspect with a handgun allegedly approached a victim in the 1800 block of Sunnydale Avenue and demanded the victim’s vehicle. The victim obeyed and the suspect fled the scene. There was no arrest.

3:17 pm: An SFPD officer was responding to a trespassing call on Pine and Gough when the suspect started to run. After chasing the suspect, the officer was assaulted and injured. The officer sustained non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was arrested.

5:30 pm: In the unit block of Lobos Street, two men were in a physical disagreement when one shot the other. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his lower body. The victim was sent to San Francisco General Hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries. No arrest has been made.

Sunday, 7/4/10

12:30 am: A victim waved down a passing vehicle at Broadway and the Embarcadero, telling the driver that he was just stabbed by three men who proceeded to run down Embarcadero. The victim was sent to the hospital and was treated for the non-life threatening stab wounds. No arrests have been made.

1:50 am: A victim was attacked in the 900 block of Embarcadero North, sustaining several punches to the face and head. The victim fell and lost consciousness, before being taken to he hospital and being treated for his non-life threatening injuries. No arrest has been made.

1:51 am: Two victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds at Van Ness Ave. and Sacramento St. after trying to break up a fight between two women. After allegedly shooting the victims, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. The victims were sent to the hospital with life threatening injuries. No arrest has been made.

4:15 pm: The SFPD responded to a fire scene at Grant Ave. and Clay St., concluding that it may have been arson. An SFPD arson Investigator arrived at the scene for further investigation. No injuries were sustained and no arrests were made.

5:15 pm: A 25 year old, 6 foot tall, 250 pound Asian male allegedly knocked on a Taraval Police District hotel room door. The victim opened the door and the suspect allegedly entered the room forcefully, simultaneously trying to produce a weapon and demanding money. The victim fought the suspect, causing the suspect to flee the scene. The victim suffered minor non-life threatening injuries. No arrest has been made.

6:40 pm: A 5’9 stocky Asian male in his 30’s allegedly knocked on the door of a victim’s house in the Northern Police District. The victim opened the door; the suspect forcefully entered the room and produced a knife while demanding money. The victim fought the suspect, causing the suspect to flee the scene. The victim suffered non-life threatening minor injuries. No arrest has been made.

7:09 pm: A suspect allegedly knocked on a Richmond Police District motel room door and forcefully entered, producing a knife and demanding money from the victim. The victim obeyed the demand. The suspect fled the scene. The suspect was arrested. No injuries were sustained.

9:45 pm: A suspect was trying to flag down passing cars on Conservatory Drive East and John F. Kennedy Drive. The suspect allegedly told a passerby that he was stabbed. Officers arrived on the scene to respond to a 911 call, and the suspect allegedly stated that he was attacked by the victim with a knife. The suspect claimed to fight back and stab the victim. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect has been arrested.

11:10 pm: Two suspects allegedly approached two victims in the unit block of Benton Street. The first suspect (black male, aged 25-30, 6 foot, 180 pounds) produced a gun and demanded valuables from the victims. The victims obeyed while the suspects ran from the scene. No arrests have been made and no injuries were suffered.

11:38 pm: A victim allegedly approached two suspects at Mission and Niagara and asked for a cigarette. Both suspects brandished handguns and demanded the victim’s valuables. The victim obeyed and the suspects fled the scene. No arrests have been made and no injuries were sustained.

Monday, 7/5/10

1:00 am: Three victims were walking down California Street at Cushman Street when they were allegedly approached by three suspects. The suspects allegedly demanded that the victims hand over their money. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and allegedly threatened the victims. The three victims obeyed, handing over their money. The three suspects were detained by an officer at the scene; all three suspects have been arrested.

1:30 am: Two victims were walking on Powell St. when they were allegedly approached by two suspects. The suspects allegedly demanded the victims’ money and valuables. The suspects threatened the victims with guns. The victims complied with the suspects’ demands, giving them the money. The suspects fled the scene. One suspect is in custody.

2:03 am: Two suspects allegedly approached a victim in the 1100 block of Clay Street, demanding the victim’s valuables. Once the victim refused, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun. The suspects punched the victim several times until the victim fell to the ground. The suspects fled the scene. The victim was sent to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made. The victim’s valuables were not stolen.

6:20 pm: Two men were having a verbal argument in the 200 block of Golden Gate Avenue when the suspect allegedly grabbed the victim and stabbed him. The victim was sent to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was arrested.

6:23 pm: A victim was trying to break up a bar fight in the 3200 block of 24th Street when a suspect pulled out a knife from his waist band and stabbed the victim outside of the bar. The victim was sent to the hospital for his non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
