9:08 AM: An undescribed person was texting on Muni at 9th and Irving when they were reportedly punched and their phone was stolen. The victim’s injuries were not life threatening, and no arrest has been made. So how about that Muni video? Who wants it to be released to help identify the suspect? I do!

9:30 AM: Some undescribed suspects reportedly entered a home on the 400 block of Dorado via an open window. It must be warmer on Dorado Terrace than it is in my house. The resident of the home confronted the trespassers and they fled. No one’s been arrested.

6:14 PM:Officers responded to a call of shots fired and discovered a black man with gunshot wounds on the first block of Garlington. He was pronounced dead at SF General. No one’s been arrested. Update: More on this crime here

8:48 PM:Three men with guns reportedly entered a restaurant on the 700 block of Monterey. They allegedly stole an employees’ purse, a customer’s wallet, and the money from the register. No injuries, no arrests.

9 PM:A white man reportedly ran into a garage on the first block of Otsego and stole a dog belonging to a white female. What. No arrest has been made.

11:30 PM: Four black women reportedly shot at two black women who were vandalizing a car on the 1000 block of Oakdale. The vandals fled in their own vehicle. One non-life-threatening injury was reported, but no one’s been arrested, which is kind of interesting, isn’t it?

Friday, 1/8/10

1:44AM:Two black men, one of whom had a gun, reportedly robbed two hispanic women on the 2100 block of Polk. No injuries, no arrests.
