Bay Bridge Will Not Reopen Tuesday Morning, Commuters Advised To Plan Ahead
According to BART, but as we had kind of expected, The Bay Bridge will not be reopening Tuesday morning for traffic.
They say: "BART will run expanded commute service on Tusday with longer trains when available, but will not run overnight service between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. early Tuesday morning. Caltrans is estimating that the Bay Bridge will reopen again at 5:00 am on Wednesday, September 9th."
The delay is due to some unexpected damage discovered over the weekend.
