baybridgeclosure.jpgAccording to BART, but as we had kind of expected, The Bay Bridge will not be reopening Tuesday morning for traffic.

They say: “BART will run expanded commute service on Tusday with longer trains when available, but will not run overnight service between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. early Tuesday morning. Caltrans is estimating that the Bay Bridge will reopen again at 5:00 am on Wednesday, September 9th.”

The delay is due to some unexpected damage discovered over the weekend.
