Man Arrested on Suspicion of Killing Bernal Heights Woman

San Francisco police have arrested a man on suspicion of killing a woman who lived with him in the city’s Bernal Heights neighborhood on Tuesday morning, a police spokesman said today.

San Francisco police arrested 48-year-old Jules Sibilio on suspicion of murder for the death of the 42-year-old woman, San Francisco police Officer Albie Esparza said.

Firefighters responded to a medical call at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Peralta Avenue and found an unresponsive body there, police said.

Esparza said the victim had suffered trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fire officials notified the Police Department that the death was possibly suspicious and homicide investigators took over the case, police said.

The cause of death and identity of the victim has not yet been released, police said.

The death remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call police at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 with “SFPD” at the beginning of the message.
