sffd_firefighters.jpgFirefighters have controlled a one-alarm fire at a residential building near Fulton and Gough streets in San Francisco, a fire captain said.

The fire was reported at 10:50 a.m. at a six-story building at 355 Fulton St., Capt. Jeanne Seyler said.

The initial report was of an alarm sounding, and the fire department sent a fire engine, a truck and a battalion chief to the scene, Seyler said.

When they arrived and saw that a fire was burning, they called in additional crews. The blaze was controlled at 11:07 a.m., she said.

No injuries were reported.
