policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man was robbed at gunpoint while walking and talking on his cell phone in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood on Monday night, police said.

The robbery was reported at 8:18 p.m. near Eighth and Ringold streets.

The 33-year-old victim was talking on his phone when two suspects approached. One pulled out a gun while the other suspect grabbed the phone from the victim’s hand, according to police.

The suspects, described as men in their early to mid-20s, also took the victim’s wallet and necklace before running away, police said. They had not been found as of this morning.
