A man was robbed at gunpoint while walking and talking on his cell phone in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood on Monday night, police said.
The robbery was reported at 8:18 p.m. near Eighth and Ringold streets.
The 33-year-old victim was talking on his phone when two suspects approached. One pulled out a gun while the other suspect grabbed the phone from the victim’s hand, according to police.
The suspects, described as men in their early to mid-20s, also took the victim’s wallet and necklace before running away, police said. They had not been found as of this morning.
