weather.jpgFriday: This long weekend starts off a bit cloudy, but gradually clears up to the mid 60s in the afternoon. Temperatures drop down to the low 50s tonight, but skies will stay pretty fog-free. And as if this even needs to be mentioned, the winds are still blowing at full speed (up to 29 mph gusts if you’re near the coast!) Those who’ve lived in the city long enough already know that almost every day is a kite-flying day in San Francisco.

Saturday: The actual weekend welcomes us with more warm sun and a slight break from the fierce gusts. Breezy and sunny with highs of 74 downtown and 67 around the Golden Gate Park area, the weather stays friendly for your outdoor festivities.

Sunday: Happy Independence Day! Today the skies are being patriotic, too! Blue skies, white clouds, and red sun! Whether you’re catching the fireworks in Fisherman’s Wharf or Twin Peaks, the day will be full of sunshine with highs in the 70s. The night will stay clear just long enough to watch the fireworks before some patchy fog starts to roll in around 11pm. You might want to grab an extra coat if you’re watching from the mountains since it’ll drop down to low 50s in the night. But I’m sure the massive crowds around will also keep you warm however cold night.

Monday: The fog that rolled in last night hangs in the morning skies until 11am. Then, for you to enjoy the last of your weekend, the afternoon opens up to sunny skies with highs around 70 inland and 60 by the coast.
