Due to Doyle Drive Construction Veteran’s Blvd/Park Presidio from Lake Street to northbound Hwy 101/Doyle Drive will be closed beginning Friday, June 18 at 10 p.m. through Saturday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m.

The following Muni routes will be affected:
28 – 19th Avenue
91 – Owl

Juneteenth Celebration

The Juneteenth Celebration will take place this weekend in the Civic Center from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20.

The following street closures for the celebration will be required from 12:01 a.m., Saturday, June 19 to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, June 20:

Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place from McAllister Street to Grove Street (Northbound only/Southbound lane will be open)
Grove Street from Polk Street to Larkin Street
Larkin Street (southbound only) from McAllister Street to Grove Street

Juneteenth Parade
The Juneteenth Parade will be held on Saturday, June 19 and begin at 11:30 a.m. Parade staging will be located on Post Street west of Fillmore Street. The route will be as follows: east on Post Street, south on Fillmore Street, east on McAllister, and into the Civic Center.

Streets will re-open as the parade passes.

The following Muni routes will be affected on Saturday and Sunday:
5 Fulton
22 Fillmore
31 Balboa
38 Geary
47 Van Ness
49 Mission/Van Ness

Sunday Streets – Mission District
The fifth of nine Sunday Streets events will be held this Sunday in the Mission District. Sunday’s event is a 3 mile route, and includes street closures on portions of 24th Street, Harrison, Valencia and various adjacent streets from 24th and Potrero to Dolores Park. The route will be available for recreational activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Street closures are from 9:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The event is free to all participants. The number of attendees is not known.

Major activity centers will feature dancing, yoga, bicycling and other activities. The locations are: Main Hub and children’s events at Garfield Park (26th and Harrison), Harrison between 26th and 17th, Mission Playground (Valencia and 19th), Bart Plaza (24th and Mission); various locations for other activities.

North Beach Festival
The North Beach Festival will be held this Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day in and around Washington Square Park. Attendance over the 2 days is anticipated to be 80,000 participants.

The following street closures will be required from 12 a.m., Saturday to 11:59 p.m., Sunday:
Grant Avenue from Filbert Street to Columbus Avenue
Green Street from Grant Avenue to Columbus Avenue
Vallejo Street from Grant Avenue to Columbus Avenue
Union Street from Stockton Street to Columbus Avenue

The following Muni routes will be affected:
30 Stockton
39 Coit
45 Union/Stockton

Escape From the Rock Triathlon
On Sunday, June 20, the Escape from the Rock Triathlon will take place. The event will begin with a swim from Alcatraz to Aquatic Park and include a run from Aquatic Park into the Presidio along Marina Green, with cyclists continuing to Baker Beach via Lincoln and Bowley Sts. Approximately 600 participants are expected.
