The connector from northbound 19th Avenue to Doyle Drive in San Francisco will be closed for 13 hours beginning tonight (seriously, tonight! We checked!) as part of ongoing construction for the Doyle Drive replacement project.

The roadway connects northbound state Highway 1 with the approach to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Travelers are urged to avoid optional trips in the area during the closure, which takes place from 10 p.m. today to 11 a.m. Saturday.

The closure area begins at Lake Street; the suggested detours from Highway 1 are eastbound at either Lincoln Way or Geary Boulevard toward Lombard Street, approaching Doyle Drive from the east.
