San Francisco homicide inspectors are investigating the death of a 33-year-old man found Monday morning in a Mission District residential hotel.
The manager of the Mission Hotel at 520 S. Van Ness Ave. made the discovery at about 10 a.m., according to police spokesman Sgt. Wilfred Williams.
Williams said the man had no apparent signs of trauma such as a bullet or stab wound, but the death has been deemed suspicious, pending an investigation by the medical examiner’s office.
The man, who had been living at the hotel for about eight months, was found alone, lying on the bed in his room, Williams said.
No arrests have been made.
