10 AM: The manager of the Mission Hotel (520 South Van Ness) discovered that a male resident had died in his room. Cause of death has yet to be determined.

5:30 PM: A white man assaulted a white woman during a disagreement on the 400 block of Ellis. Her injuries weren’t life threatening, and he was arrested.
