Arson crews are investigating a one-alarm fire that originated in a garage at a building in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood this evening, a fire dispatcher said.
Firefighters responded to a fire at a two-story wooden building at 1313 Palou Ave., the dispatcher said.
The building was evacuated and no one was transported to the hospital, according to the dispatcher.
Firefighters contained the blaze to the garage and had it under control by 5:45 p.m. but crews were still on scene as of 6:30 p.m., the dispatcher said.
The dispatcher said arson investigators also responded to the location and are working to determine the cause of the fire.
