Arrest Made In June Shooting Death in Mission District

A San Francisco resident has been arrested in connection with a June homicide in the city’s Mission District, San Francisco police said today.

Justin Howard, 25, was taken into custody on July 9 at his girlfriend’s house in Richmond, according to police.

Howard is allegedly responsible for the shooting death of 25-year-old Dominic Anderson, of San Francisco, according to police.

Anderson was shot multiple times in his upper body around 9:15 a.m. on June 13 in the area of 15th and Mission streets in the Mission District, according to police.

Anderson was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he died.

Police have not released information on what linked Howard to the shooting.
