5:05 PM: Power has been restored at the San Francisco International Airport BART station this afternoon and BART is recovering from major delays in and out of the airport, a BART spokeswoman said.

The power outage was reported at 3:50 p.m. and was affecting the tracks, elevators and escalators at BART’s SFO station, BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost said.

Trost said the outage only affected the BART station and did not impact the rest of the airport.

She said shortly before 5 p.m. that power had been restored to the station and that BART was recovering from the delays.

Initially she said that PG&E crews were making repairs, but clarified that an airport repair crew performed the repairs.
