Crews are tackling a one-alarm fire at a vacant building on Treasure Island this afternoon, a San Francisco fire spokeswoman said.
The fire at the building at 810 Avenue E was reported at 4:01 p.m., fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
She said the fire was first reported on the stairs of the building and may have spread.
As of 4:20 p.m., she said firefighters had moved onto the roof of the empty building.
