A female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in San Francisco’s Richmond District this morning, police and fire officials said.

The collision was reported at 8:22 a.m. at Cabrillo Street and Funston Avenue.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital but information about her injuries was not immediately available.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police spokeswoman Officer Tracy Turner said.
