San Francisco firefighters have extinguished a one-alarm fire in an under-construction home in the Sunset District this afternoon, a fire official said.

Firefighters received a report of smoke at 3:58 p.m. at 2501 Moraga St.

Upon arrival, firefighters could see smoke coming from the residence and quickly got the construction workers in the building out, officials said.

Firefighters found the fire after breaking into an attic wall.

The fire was put out at 4:32 p.m. and the workers were allowed to return to the building, according to the fire department.
