Speaking of gunfire, Haighteration reports that area residents heard “8-10 gunshots” last Saturday afternoon near Church and Herman Streets.

According to SFPD, however, there was no record of any injuries in the area, nor did anyone call SFPD to report the shots. Oddly, one Haighteration commenter says “At least three squad cars showed up. Several witnesses provided statements. They collected shell casings for evidence, and captured a photo of the license plate of the motorcycle that had been damaged by gunfire. They also indicated that they could review footage from the three CCTV cameras.”
