shooting_nighttime.jpgA man sustained a gunshot wound to his foot in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Police responded to reports of shots fired near the intersection of Eddy and Leavenworth streets at 12:12 p.m.

The victim was uncooperative with the investigation, police said.

One person is in custody in connection with the shooting, according to police.

    Any victim who willfully refuses to provide any information they may have about their assailant should be charged as an accessory after the fact. How can the police be expected to help victims who refuse to help themselves?
