The outage was reported at about 7:30 p.m. in the area north of Geary Boulevard between Fourth Avenue and Park Presidio Boulevard and was initially affecting about 1,600 customers, PG&E spokeswoman Jana Morris said.

Initial reports said that the outage may have been caused by a car hitting a power pole, however PG&E crews on site have been unable to confirm that, Morris said.

All power was restored at 8:15 p.m. Crews are still trying to determine the cause of the outage.
