A hotel manager called police after a fight broke out in a room on the second floor of a hotel in the 1700 block of Market Street around 2 a.m., police said.

Officers found a party taking place and that some guests had started physically fighting because of an earlier argument, police said.

The hotel manager requested that the guests be removed from the room and police helped shut down the party.
