police-light-bar1.jpgA motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park last Saturday has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 39-year-old Daniel Williams.

The crash happened at about 9:40 p.m. near the intersection of Kezar and Martin Luther King Jr. drives in the southeastern part of the park, police said.

Williams, a San Francisco resident, was traveling west on Kezar Drive when he struck a light pole, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
