A 21-year-old man is suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound to his upper body after an early morning shooting in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
Police received a report of the shooting in the 200 block of Leavenworth Street, which is near Turk Street, at approximately 1 a.m., according to police said.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police do not have a suspect description at this time, according to Esparza.
