sfpd_squad.jpgPolice are seeking a man who fired several shots before stealing a car in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Wednesday night.

At about 8:50 p.m., the victim, a 30-year-old man, was walking near Garnett Terrace and Willie B. Kennedy Drive when the suspect approached, pointed a gun at him and demanded his keys, police said.

The suspect then got into the car and drove away. The car was later found abandoned in Oakland, police said.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.

The suspect, described as a man around 20 years old, had not been found as of this morning.

Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
