police-light-bar1.jpgA woman who was killed on Interstate Highway 280 in San Francisco on Friday night has been identified as 28-year-old Mary Doering, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Units responded to reports of a collision near Geneva Avenue at about 9:40 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The northbound lanes were shut down for about an hour and Doering, a San Francisco resident, was declared dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by the CHP.
