The SFPUC has been at the intersection of Guerrero and 22nd streets since around 2 p.m. Friday, spokeswoman Alison Kastama said.

Kastama said workers are looking to stop the leak of a larger service main.

Water was shut off to customers from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday to find the source of the leak, Kastama said. It has since been turned on after the leak was found not to affect any customers, she said.

The block on 22nd between Guerrero Street and San Jose Avenue is closed to through traffic, Kastama said.

Finding and stopping the leak will take a good part of the morning, she said.
