shooting_nighttime.jpgSeveral cars were struck by gunfire in the Potrero Hill public housing complex in San Francisco on Tuesday morning, police said.

Officers responded at around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Connecticut Street.

They arrived to find that four vehicles had been struck by gunshots. The officers notified the owners of each of the cars and also talked to witnesses who heard the shots that morning, according to police.

No one was injured by the gunfire and no other damage was reported, police said.
