policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man was critically injured in a stabbing in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood Friday afternoon, police said today.

The stabbing was reported at 4:29 p.m. in the 300 block of Ellis Street, which is near Taylor.

The 28-year-old victim got into an argument with the suspect inside a store, and the pair then both went outside, according to police.

The victim then came back in the store moments later with stab wounds to his torso. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect, a man believed to be in his early to mid 40s, fled and had not been found as of this morning, according to police.
