sfpd_arrestcuffs.jpgA woman was arrested after stabbing another woman in the stomach during an argument in San Francisco’s Mid-Market neighborhood on Saturday night, police said.

The stabbing was reported around 10:15 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Market Street, which is near 9th Street.

The 29-year-old victim and the suspect were arguing when the suspect stabbed her in the abdomen, according to police.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for her injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

The suspect, a 55-year-old woman, was later arrested, according to police. Her name has not yet been released.
