policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man attacked his roommate in San Francisco’s Richmond District early Monday morning in a dispute over his choice of a movie, a police spokesman said today.

The attack was reported around 2:50 a.m. in the 800 block of 25th Avenue, which is near Cabrillo.

The victim had put on a movie that his roommate, 42-year-old Adrian Groarke, did not like, police spokesman Sgt. Daryl Fong said.

Groarke allegedly felt that the movie was “distasteful and disrespectful” to him and his mother, who also lives at the residence, Fong said.

Fong said Groarke punched his roommate, causing a broken tooth and cuts to his face.

Officers responded and arrested Groarke on suspicion of aggravated assault, he said.
