shooting_nighttime.jpg9:55 AM: Two men were injured, one critically, in separate shootings on the same street in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Wednesday night, police said.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation near Sunnydale Avenue and Hahn Street at 8:54 p.m. found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest, according to police.

The victim told officers that four suspects in a small yellow Toyota shot at him then drove away, police said.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening.

Two hours later, at 10:55 p.m., a 25-year-old man was walking in the 1700 block of Sunnydale Avenue when he heard two shots fired from an unknown direction, according to police.

The victim then realized he had been shot in the calf. As he fell to the ground, he saw two suspects running away.

No arrests had been made in either case as of this morning.
