policeblotter_sfa.jpgPolice are seeking a man who exposed himself to a woman in San Francisco’s Bayview District late Tuesday night.

The incident occurred around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Jerrold Avenue, where a man approached the 38-year-old woman, police said.

The man dropped his pants to knee-level, then grabbed his genitals and said, “I can’t help it,” according to police.

The woman yelled that she was going to call police, at which point the man turned around, got into a white cargo van and drove away heading east on Jerrold Avenue, police said.

The suspect, described as a black man between 35 and 45 years old who is about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs roughly 180 pounds, has not been found. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and white pants, according to police.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
