Police are searching for two teens who officers saw firing guns at people in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Sunday night.

The officers were driving south on Fitzgerald Avenue near Cameron Avenue around 8:15 p.m. Sunday when they heard gunshots, then saw two victims running away while being chased by a suspect who fired more shots, police said.

When the officers exited their vehicle, the suspect turned toward them and pointed his weapon at them, then realized they were police and ran west toward Gilman Avenue, according to police.

The officers gave chase but could not find the suspect, described as a man in his 20s.

The victims, two boys between 15 and 17 years old, were not injured in the shooting.
