doxie.val.jpgIn a city where we’ve got more pets than kids, what better way to celebrate a holiday of love than by adding to that statistic and adopting more? Enter SF SPCA’s Be Mine Valentine Adopt-a-thon, going on Friday, February 10th through Sunday, February 12th.

All day Friday through Sunday from 10am-8pm, there will be pet adoptions priced at just $10, increasing by $1 the next day, etc. So, Friday’s $10 for an adorable companion, Saturday’s $11, and Sunday’s $12.

Friday night from 4pm-8pm there will be a cocktail party with free drinks, photo opportunities with famed cat psychologist and star of Animal Planet’s “My Cat From Hell” Jackson Galaxy, food from Flexx Bronco’s Voodoo Van (“No forks, no knives, no mercy”), and, adorably, a puppy kissing booth.

Saturday offers even more fun with a Cat Mojo workshop with Jackson Galaxy from 12pm-1:30pm, a Q&A session with SF SPCA Board-Certified Behaviorist Dr. Jeannine Berger from 3pm-4pm, and children’s activities, animal-themed workshops and more from 3pm-7pm.

RSVPing is not necessary. For more information, visit sfspca.org/be-mine.
