The victims, a 33-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, were sitting in their car in the first block of Ocean Avenue at about 2:50 p.m. Monday when four suspects approached, according to police.

One stole jewelry from one of the victims, then fired at the victims’ car. No one was hit by the gunfire and the victims were not injured in the robbery, police said.

The suspects fled in a black four-door vehicle, which police later found. A 22-year-old man, whose name was not immediately available, was arrested but the other three suspects remain at large, according to police.

Anyone with information about the suspects, three men believed to be in their 20s, is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
