sfo03.jpgA man wanted in connection with two murders in Fresno was arrested at San Francisco International Airport today by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials.

Jose Angel Perez, 27, was arrested after he arrived on a flight from Mexico.

Perez is wanted in connection with the 2006 fatal shooting of a 20-year-old woman who was eight months pregnant. She and her unborn child were killed, and Perez allegedly fled to Mexico to avoid prosecution.

Federal officials turned Perez over to Fresno police to complete the arrest after confirming his identity and the warrant status.
