police-light-bar1.jpgA jewelry store was robbed at gunpoint in San Francisco’s Chinatown neighborhood on Thursday afternoon, police said today.

The robbery was reported at 4:54 p.m. Thursday at a store in the 800 block of Grant Avenue, near Clay Street.

Two suspects entered the business, where one took out a handgun while the other held a bag, reached over a counter and removed pieces of jewelry, according to police.

The suspects, two men in their 20s and 30s, fled and had not been found as of this morning, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery.
