The victim of a homicide was found in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood Thursday morning, police said today.

Officers responded at 8:18 a.m. Thursday to the 2000 block of Polk Street, which is between Pacific and Broadway, on the report of a deceased person.

Police arrived to find a male victim dead from an apparent homicide. The medical examiner’s office confirmed the case was a homicide, but was not releasing the victim’s identity or cause of death as of this morning.

Police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said investigators were not yet releasing further information about the case this morning.

No arrests have been made in connection with the death. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
