Two suspects snatched a gold chain from around a victim’s neck in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The robbery was reported at about 4 p.m. Saturday in the 3700 block of Mission Street near Highland Avenue.
The male victim said he was standing on the sidewalk when two suspects approached.
One grabbed his gold chain and yanked it so hard that it broke, according to police.
The suspects then fled with the necklace, police said.
The victim was not injured in the robbery.
