sfpd_squad.jpgA man suffered a punctured lung in a stabbing in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.

The stabbing was reported at 12:14 a.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of Mission Street.

An argument between the 29-year-old victim and another man turned physical and he was stabbed three times in the back, according to police.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

The suspect was taken into custody. Police have not released his name but said he is 21 years old.
