No water will be available to visitors at San Francisco’s Dolores Park for part of this week, San Francisco Recreation and Park Department officials said.

The water system will be shut off for up to 48 hours because of construction in the park’s playground area.

The shutoff will begin as early as today and will affect the park’s bathrooms, drinking fountains and irrigation systems.
