Hey Bay Area: do you and a friend (oh hell, it could be anyone) 21 years or older and have enough baggage to make a grueling trip around the world for cash look more strenuous than it already is? Then CBS wants you Saturday, October 1 at an open casting call for “The Amazing Race.”

Checking the eligibility requirements, you must also be fascinating, not a criminal, crazy, or running for office (sorry Ron Paul).

Some hard-hitting questions that may be asked during the casting call include “Why should you be on the show?” and “How much have you traveled with your partner?” Questions almost as difficult as the TSA asking you whether or not you packed your own bag.

Still sound enticing? Head to the already-exotic Prickly Pear Cantina at the Blackhawk Plaza in Danville and show CBS your adventurous side. Oh, and sign a waiver.

What: Open casting call for “The Amazing Race”
When: Saturday, October 1st from 11am-3pm
Where: Blackhawk Plaza, inside the Prickly Pear Cantina: 3421 Blackhawk Plaza Circle, Danville
Cost: a little bit of creativity and some issues that may be brought to the forefront through strenuous physical activity.
