police-light-bar1.jpgA crash involving a San Francisco Fire Department truck and another truck closed a freeway off-ramp in the city’s South of Market neighborhood for over an hour this morning, police said.

San Francisco police responded to the crash at around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Eighth and Harrison streets. Two people were taken to San Francisco General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, police said.

Officials from the California Highway Patrol said the U.S. Highway 101 off-ramp in the area was blocked until around 10 a.m.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
