giants_db017.jpgIf you’re one of the few people who doesn’t diligently check the Giants’ website every day for updates on their latest escapades, you might’ve missed the news that you, too, could be the proud owner of one of their World Series championship rings.

As Appeal pal and Chron scribe Catherine Bigelow reports, the Giants Community Fund is raffling off “a 2010 World Series Championship ring provided by Tiffany & Co., identical to the rings given to Giants players and coaches.”

The deadline to buy the raffle tickets (the more you buy the cheaper they are) is 8:59 PM PST tonight.

Proceeds benefit the Giants Community Fund, which provides outreach programs and free summer league baseball. Bay City News recently reported on their flagship program, the Junior Giants.

This means that your money goes to two good causes: the community and your chance at bling! So get to buying those tickets today.

The drawing takes place Wednesday, July 27 during the telecast of the Giants-Phillies game, which starts at 4:05 PST.
