shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Tuesday night, police said.

The shooting was reported around 10:05 p.m. in the first block of Doublerock Street in the Alice Griffith housing development.

Two groups were involved in an altercation, during which a 23-year-old man was shot several times, according to police.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

Both groups fled after the shooting, and no arrests had been made as of this morning, according to police.
