shooting_nighttime.jpgA teenage boy was shot in the calf near San Francisco’s AT&T Park early this morning, police said.

The shooting was reported around 2:10 a.m. in the 200 block of King Street.

The 17-year-old victim was walking by a four-door black Honda when someone inside the car got out and yelled something at him, according to police.

The suspect then fired several shots, striking the victim once in the right calf, before fleeing south on Interstate Highway 280 in the Honda, police said. He had not been found as of this morning.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.
