shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was hospitalized Monday night after a drive-by shooting in San Francisco’s Mission District, police said.

The victim, about 19 or 20 years old, was standing on the corner of 24th and York streets shortly after 8 p.m. when he was shot by a suspect sitting in the passenger side of a green sedan, according to police.

The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and no further information regarding the suspects was immediately available.

The department’s gang task force is investigating, police said.
